Brushing

Have I mentioned that I hate going to the dentist? I feel like a bad person every time I leave the office and have cavities. I swear I brush and even floss daily. I really do! First thing when I get up in the morning because I can't stand morning breath. I feel like they don't believe me when I say I don't drink soda or eat sugar straight from the bag. I guess just looking at my teeth and x-rays it paints a different picture. Would I feel worse if I did consume sugar at the rate my teeth are showing? Or would I just have a mouth full of dentures? I wish I was the little kid leaving proudly beaming, "look ma' no cavities!" Not me. But then again, does anyone love the dentist?

I've never had cavities, and the dentist still puts the guilt on. Oddly, I just went to the dentist today and was just thinking about how people in this profession must be trained to make others feel bad. What ever happened to "bedside" manner? My hygienist guilted me because she had to clean my teeth since one year ago. Well, I have used them since last we met...
