Today is a good day to be reminded of the reasons we marry. Sara's blog has been inspiring me for a while and she makes some wonderful observations and points today. We don't get married for the flowers, or for the pretty invitations. We get married because we want to spend our lives with one person and we want to publicly acknowledge and commemorate that relationship. The small details are exciting, they can be fun. After your wedding ceremony and reception will anyone remember those details? It helps to focus my perspective.
