When we first started our required marriage prep our counselor asked us a simple, yet poignant question: why do you want to get married? Having to put my thoughts and feelings into words wasn't too easy. So many things seem obvious but can be taken for granted. I want to be acknowledged and I want to truly be part of Trevor's family. I want him to be part of my family. Together we want to become a family unit. This is an early morning snapshot of the beginnings of my family. Something simple.
