I don't think I have been happier in Texas than I am now. Our house is being flooded with friends and familiar faces and it feels like a home now. I have felt a difference in my mood and attitude, similar to when the Grinch's hear grew. It is all due to the fact that I've been graced by people who get me, an unspoken understanding. Texas will never be where I'm from, but I'll take this feeling over last summer's any day. What has lifted your spirits lately?
