Storm

Another severe storm flew in over the horizon last evening.  Lightning dancing across the sky lighting up the house and finally thunder booming overhead startling both the dog and the husband.  The wind was so strong that I went and moved a plant so it wouldn't get uprooted by the wind.  We're finally getting the rain we've been waiting for and I hope it drives down these temperatures.  I'm ready for lows below 75 and highs that aren't in the 90s.  If that sounds good to you, be thankful you don't live in Texas.  How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

Ah, Midwest "thorms" as coined by an old Chicago weatherman. It's 43 here this morning, and I just turned on the heat. Two different worlds we live in! Wondering what layer to wear as the inside temp will be the high outside today - 65.

Yeah 49, and condensation on the windows of the car. I almost turned on the heat last night.

I regret wearing pants to work today - too hot outside when I was sitting in the car waiting for the AC to kick in. It is too hot here - and October is this Saturday. Maybe winter will come and I'll feel comfortable in pants yet again.
