Happy second anniversary to my wonderful husband. I am glad that we finally got a 'honeymoon' and look forward to many more years and travels together in our future.

I am inspired to do more than just put new cushions out on the patio. I want to be able to sit outside with my tea in the mornings to relax and read or just lounge. I love the striped backdrop of this patio and the green cushions. I've been cut off from adding more green to our decor, so on the patio it will have to come from plants. Do you have a place to relax outside?

I think I need this for my classroom next year. I rather like the idea of kids telling me to be awesome instead of the smirking "keep calm and carry on" I get parroted back now and again. Do you think it would work?

This is a nice way to remember a vacation. I always appreciate foreign coins and like keeping them, but they just sit around in a container somewhere not being appreciated or noticed too often. What do you bring home as souvenirs from vacations?

I have never been so busy! Now that I've pretty much got my classroom squared away for being gone I need to actually pack my bag. I've had a mental list running through my head but today I start laying out clothes and putting them into my bag. Yes, I will over pack - but it's only a carry-on. What is the item you always find yourself forgetting?

This is my last week in the classroom before my escape, I mean vacation. I'm not planning on telling the kids because once they find out I'll be gone for the week, it will be chaos. We'll see if it will work. My fingers are crossed, but I'll take this piece of wisdom to heart & they won't see me sweat. How is your week shaping up?

For some reason I've been having trouble getting enough sleep this week. I end up getting a sudden burst of energy or a last-minute task to finish before sleep comes and then my brain won't turn off. Top it all off with a husband who is up way before the sun and you can imagine the circles under my eyes. How do you get a good night's sleep?

This card made me laugh because I sent my mom a card in the mail today, but forgot to write anything in it (the card was inside of a package... really I thought of framing it but...). Where had I disappeared to? My husband and I whisked ourselves away to the quaint little town of Fredericksburg, TX for a relaxing weekend. I was the official race photographer while my husband competed in a local 5k and then we explored the town and found ourselves at the Becker Vineyard's annual lavender festival. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as we sampled wine, chocolates and lavender. It was a great few days, now I am ready for the week. How was your weekend?
